Will the heat wreck my expensive trainers or leather boots?
No. Unlike a hair dryer or a radiator, DryKicks holds a constant 40–50°C and circulates gentle warm air from the inside. Warm enough to dry thoroughly, far below the temperature that warps soles or cracks leather. Safe on technical fabrics, mesh, knit, suede and premium leather.
Does it actually stop the smell, or just mask it?
It removes the cause. Shoe odour comes from bacteria breeding in trapped moisture. Sprays sit on top and cover it for a few hours. DryKicks dries the shoe out completely from the inside, so the bacteria has nothing left to grow in.
Is it safe to leave running overnight?
Yes. The built-in timer runs your chosen cycle — 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes — and powers the unit down on its own.
Will it fit heavy work boots?
Yes. The adjustable arms extend to fit everything from kids' shoes and low trainers up to tall work boots, and they'll handle gloves too.
